WELCOME to the ST. JOHN's FAMILY!

Listen Here

The congregation of St. John's Church

welcomes ALL who wish to share

in our celebration of the Resurrection

of our LORD JESUS CHRIST

Sunday mornings, 9:00a &

Wednesday evenings, 6:30p.

The liturgy is primarily to be heard and watched,

and experienced from the heart. Listen to the prayers,

sing along with the hymns and responses, and simply

lift a thankful heart to the Lord. Christian worship

engages all our senses. That is why we bow, stand or kneel

often in the service, and use beautiful vestments,

and sometimes even incense. This is the ancient liturgy

of the Western Church, so as you worship, you will join

with the company of Christian believers who have offered

their prayers to the Lord in this way for centuries!

In fact, there were Christian believers living in the

British Isles as far back as the First Century A.D.

Members at St. John's come from a wide variety

of Christian church denominations and worship experiences.

You'll find friends here ready to encourage your spiritual

growth, and a new family united by saving faith in

Jesus Christ. You'll find Worship booklets to guide you

through each service, as well as The Book of Common Prayer

in each pew. The Holy Eucharist: Rite I begins on page 323,

and the Psalms can be found at the back of the Book.

Special service music and sung responses can be found

printed in the service leaflets available before a service.
