COMMUNITY
Community life at and around St. John's takes many forms!
Since our parish centers its common life around the Sacrament of our Lord's Body and Blood, the Eucharist is our principal act of worship. When you enter the Parish Hall just off Seventh Avenue SE across from the Crystal Pharmacy/Colonial Village in Moultrie, you see where members, friends and guests gather weekly to enjoy breakfast on Sundays after the 9:00 AM service.
Our mid-week service on Wednesday evenings is a simple, spoken celebration of the Holy Eucharist with no music or sermon. Many folks go out to dinner following the service to one of the local restaurants.
In the Fall of 2009, the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) held their Shops at St. John's, as a fundraiser for outreach projects in the community, as well as, projects within the parish.
Additional opportunities for community and parish life continue throughout the year. Come and see for yourself who St. John's is!
