The Vestry meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at St. John's Church as the elected body that represents all church members in matters of offical church business. The Vestry serves as the spiritual leadership team for the Body of Christ at St. John's Church. Please pray for each member as they pray together for God's wisdom and guidance during the year ahead.

Our licensed lay ministers have been commissioned by the Bishop of Georgia for spiritual leadership at St. John's, and to carry out several ministries among us, including serving at the altar as acolytes and chalice beareres in the Eucharistic services, and on special occasions, taking the sacrament to sick or shut-in members.
All baptized Christians have spiritual gifts that they are called to use in service, in order to build up the local church. But it is the Bishop's particular responsibility to see that each church has dedicated servants to help administer the sacraments along with their priest. This is an important ministry among us. Let us pray for them always, that Christ may be glorified in their service to Him.
